Arizona has a wide variety of locales. The scenery goes from desert to forests and valleys to mountains. Almost any scenery that you would want can be found here (except the ocean). Often a substantial change of scene can be obtained within a short drive. In fact there is at least one area that you can just Turn Around and go from forest to high desert.

Even the architecture varies substantially, everything from Spanish Missions to Modern Cities. There are historic mines and modern mines, Old Log Cabins and modern Sky Scrapers. What you're looking for is probably here.
